Do you think any Republican voters look at the disaster unfolding right now in our country and think to themselves "Welp, maybe putting an unqualified, twice impeached, sexual abusing felon back in the White House so he can keep himself out of prison wasn't a great idea."
Nope. They believe this is part of a grand plan that will make their lives better at some undetermined point.
And they know this is part of the cost of implementing a racist and bigoted culture and codifying it into law.
To them it’s worth it.
