It's sad that this was needed, when has "I was just doing my job" ever not worked as a defense throughout history?
Your post implies that Officer Dunn did something wrong, a la those working for the Nazis. On the contrary, he was protecting us against fascists - and now we are seeing the putsch. A tragic day for every decent person.
That's fair, in no way would I want to imply that Officer Dunn was told (compensated?) to lie to the J6 committee because he would be pardoned of any possible wrongdoing (which totally didn't happen because he was truthful).
