Should I find out if I'm on the spectrum and have adhd as soon as I can?
Or should I wait and see what this administration does with its "lists" and its anti-meds stances?

that depends on your motivation.
there are near zero supports for adults with ASD, so if you're seeking a dx for help... good luck, there really isn't any. but if you're seeking dx for validation, all you need is someone else on the spectrum to tell you. we're better at confirming autism, anyway.

What do you think about adhd diagnosis? I know it's hard for some people to get meds consistenly?
yeah. Adderall has had a supply shortage for a while, Vyvanse is on its way to that. Otherwise, there's Concerta/Ritalin, also.
Some people do well with non-stimulant meds like Strattera or Qelbree. I suggest getting a genesight test done to test how medications metabolize in your system.
