Well, I live in the Czech Republic, and need an English-speaking agent. I don't really have a choice. But it sort of begs the question: Why does the agent need to be IN your country?

Thanks! And good luck! I was reading through an agent's page and he included something along the lines of 'if you're querying from outside the UK, we expect you to have a specific reason you want an agent outside your own country.' So, I'm curious.
