- Falling asleep when my phone pings. Groggily click notification-not even checking what it’s for. The results from my mammogram open up. A mass requires further testing. My care team has not seen the results. May not see them for days? This can’t be the best way to deliver this news?

View full thread(Personally no matter how much I like my doctors I do not trust them to not miss something in my results and I want them right away no matter what! But I have also looked at a lot of 11 pm test results for worries friends so 🙃 different folks want different things!)
- Yeah I’d have looked either way honestly! But I would like them to add just like one layer of friction to enable consent. I didn’t even understand what I was opening. Might have waited till tomorrow morning so I could sleep. Oh well. 😅
- Yes please do that. It’s entirely possible. I had one there when I was a teenager. It definitely happens.

- Meg! This is such a Bad Thing In the World! (I'm assuming your boobs will be fine, it's just a thing on the thing) but my cousin's wife got the news that she had Stage 4 PANCREATIC CANCER on a ping like that! At a horse show! With her kid there! (4 years later she's still with us, but oy).

- I have the UChealth app. So a notification that opened up the app and results when I opened the phone 🫠
- Why are we dispatching test results to a healthcare app at 9pm? While also being like, “you can call your dr about this tomorrow but they won’t even know what you’re talking about tbh. Try again in a couple days. Maybe.” ????
