I'm not a member of any church, myself.
And I'm certainly not here to defend sexual abuse by anyone or institution.
Merely an observation that the new guy seems to be facing the right direction at least.

I do believe however, there are Catholics, Christians, Buddhists, Hindus, and other religions, who do indeed practise what they preach.
While each one incident is too many, it's not correct to say ALL followers are abusers.

I never said all followers who believe in their religion are abusers!
As a survivor I know there are good men who do bad things & some men choose a life as a priest vicar or monk etc so that they can abuse vulnerable kids
Those are facts but I believe much is covered up in ALL religions still
