- Tag yourself. I’m the cardinal hurriedly asking ChatGPT, “who should be the new pope? Answer in a persuasive speech as if written by a 75 year old Italian archbishop,” before he has to hand in his device at the conclave.

- I bet there are at least a few "low-information" voters in the conclave. The cardinals who take this really seriously are getting so mad whenever somebody brings up a tiktok they saw about Nostradamus or says something like, "I just think Peter Erdo seems relatable."
- I reviewed THE STUDIO for @newrepublic.com. I make two arguments. One is that the show is neither funny enough nor insightful enough to justify its high-concept style. The other is best summarized by the print headline, which I love so much. newrepublic.com/article/1947...

Nothing positive comes from getting rid of this, they're just trying to make life worse for everyone www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/u...

Oozes a pacific northwest degrowth vibe but also refuses to criticize Trump really at all in this interview. www.nytimes.com/2025/05/06/o...
