Getting caught up on my stories and honestly have to applaud an adventure series that has its main character being captured and held by the absolute stupidest idiots for 1 & 1/4 episodes

An anaccurate view of secretive top down structures. If communication is severed or leadership lost the people on the ground have literally no idea what they're supposed to be doing. It happened a lot with the Soviet army. I recommend the "lions led by donkeys" podcast for real life examples
