- What have they done? This is just stupid political posturing. At a time when the NHS and care sector (which should be NHS anyway) has a recruitment crisis, they announce this. They’ve made mistakes and this is another glaring example of their incompetence.

- I have a view, immigration is more visible as many more do frontline jobs. Nurses, auxiliary staff, taxi drivers, Uber, Deliveroo etc. So many people ‘oversee’ immigration? All while benefiting from it.

- In Spain and Portugal need there is shortage of docs & nurses cos they earn better elsewhere, but if the British government is so unthankful towards them, I'd be happy to earn less.
