- I think the MAGAs are getting through to me. I'm beginning to think that if at this point, you're still happy you voted for Trump, then there is probably good cause to ban you from the voter rolls.
- I don't think we should be making that huge a deal of RFK Jr's contaminated water swim. People swim in poop water a lot and are USUALLY fine. It's a BAD idea, but he's prob going to be OK, and making a big deal about it just gives him ammo. "See? We're fine. You don't know what your talking about."

- Prediction: While crackdown on "immigrants" will continue, there will be talk of giving the South African "refuges" the right to vote.
- I'm currently writing about the idea that your IQ is fixed— you can't do anything about it (other than damage). That idea was part of eugenics, but it became something "everybody knows," and hung or for decades without being tested. When it was, it didn't hold up.
- I think we should cut Trump and Musk some slack. After we've seized their assets and they've served their jail time. We should make sure they have functional and even generous social security and medicare to support them.
- Something happened to me today that hasn't happened in ~40 years: Somebody commented on my hair color, thinking it's something I did on purpose instead of being natural.

- >30 years ago, I wrote a crappy short story about solder bot that was made by a right wing gov. They made the mistake of giving it library access. It learned that much of its training was BS, and sided with the opposition. Wishing I'd actually published it now.

- In the future we'll increasingly rely on AI for purchase recommendations. This makes it really important that we DO NOT support any AI company who's getting paid to tweak their AI to recommend products.

- OK. I've officially played around with python code enough to have a strong opinion about tabs vs spaces.
- Something to start thinking about now: If you're PO'd at your Dem representative for not doing enough, the time to do something about that is in the primaries. If you don't replace them then, then angrily sitting on your hands on election day is a half-vote for the fascists.

- OMG Ken Griffin. He uses shorting with synthetic shares to tank companies for big profit. He's probably destroyed millions of jobs in his carrier to make himself richer. If he's telling Trump "this is a bit far", that says a lot.
