- Oh I see there is some fractious conversation around a primary candidate in my congressional district. Have fun with that, I’m gonna go see Sinners and hope when I get out the discourse and tornado watch have both passed.
- Listening to Miles’ Tutu (1986). It sounds like the score to Robocop: The Porno (complimentary). Like, I can see how it was pretty universally panned when it came out but it’s the absolute pinnacle of the 80s, production-wise. It is both cheesy and corny. Noir-funk elotes.
- I’m no hydrologist, just a simple midwestern transplant city boy, but didn’t there used to be more lake than this?
- Looking at the Cold Waves schedule, I reckon I can actually make it from the Salt Shed to Metro in time to catch the Clipping set after the Mountain Goats. Which puts me right across the street from Wrigleyville Dogs for a perfect end to the night.

- Fuck this. We used SoundCloud to host our album to share pre-release, among other things. Particularly upset that AI may be getting trained on a song called This Face Kills Machines.
