My only regret is that I have but one “cancel subscription” to give.
People don't pay for this disservice
This is why they are trying to take down all DEi on websites and change the archives. So AI will report their wachadoo POV
Why bother reading it then?
Well I don't think Patton is specifically calling out WaPo here. Commenters seem to be heaping all their frustration over this (very clearly problematic) system of summarizing data only on WaPo, when as the article says, publisher like WaPo are just hoping to stay relevant..can't blame em!
Stealing information already reported and wrapping it into a subscription. 🤦🏻♂️
Why?
Don’t you think they said the same at the introduction of the automobile?
Now you don’t say it anymore.
The quicker you get used to it the more painless it’ll be.
But it’s change. I get it
Simply do not support WaPo. After the parasite bought it I likened it to the National Enquirer. Would not be surprised if they had an article of Batboy found living in a cave off the coast of Florida!!
Great news, this is how genAI dies. By also become a cesspit of ads. I guess the "stategic partnership" doesn't involve OpenAI paying for all the stolen content to train its models, does it?
Glad I stopped subscribing.
need to do that with NPR.
A Juana Summers bot would be just as effective and probably less annoying.
Even Chat doesn't think this is a good idea. But it is a "juicy" question.
There has been increasing difficulty getting accurate news and information just in the last few months.
I report daily on infectious diseases (bird flu, measles) and it is challenging
This is only going to make it harder.
Wow. Democracy really did die in the dark. We’re really all on our own now, aren’t we? Good night and good luck.
