- Really impressive for a nepo-publisher to give a both-sides speech just two months after a student was arrested over a newspaper column in a pogrom your own paper has cheered relentlessly. Really damn impressive.

- I’m an academic, Matthew - always easily distracted and always on deadline. (Now that you mention it, the two may indeed be related…)
- Thank goodness kids don’t eat between 7 and 18 years of age
- …to be fair, I think the *actual* Republican position here is that kids should be earning their own way by age 7 rather than depending on government largesse for their, you know, food
- And all because of a cottonseed oil ban! Glad they figured out a way around that
