- Breaking character: Just got a very funny fake call. Someone pretending to be ICE, asking for personal information. It's weird...things like this don't jump out as fake so much if they involve ICE since ICE is so insane. I wonder if we will see a lot of scams like this. Anybody else heard of one?
- Sounds perfect, for instance ICE calling checking on your bank account info. Fail to cooperate you could conceivably find yourself in a concrete cell for a couple of weeks while they "check you out". ICE has unlimited powers to arrest people, no accountability, and you have to fix it, not them.
- Thanks. Even if it is NewsNation, impersonating a reputable media outlet, still I haven't seen this anywhere else. Scam opportunities basically limitless.

- Looking up old Knicks rosters (Walt Bellamy, Howard Komives, Willis Reed, etc era) I discovered that Dick Barnett, a fixture of those teams, had just passed away two weeks ago. He had an admirable life post-Bball as an educator, film maker and public advocate. now.fordham.edu/fordham-maga...

- I would leave large plastic trash bags outside for pickup. I noticed chicken bones and small pieces of food had been plucked out from the inside through small holes. Finally, I caught several black birds that had learned what the bags meant and how to navigate through them. Now I use bins only.

- I teach the kids how to do this at the end of a computational software course (MATLAB). I'm often exclaiming "Whoa!", "Wow!" at what comes up. I ask them "How many of you were thinking 'Whoa!' when that came up?". "Meh" is more like it. I think they're a little jaded.
