Alabama is the most ecologically and biodiverse state east of the Mississippi, trailing only CA, AZ, and TX. Alabama has practically every landscape known in North America aside from deserts and alpine tundra. But don’t come to our beaches. They’re totally awful and definitely not worth your time.
