I love Johnny Marr and hate Morrissey

Johnny Marr (and band) opened for The Killers when we saw them recently in DC, and yes Marr carried that band dammit. Still don't get the lack of appreciation of Queen, which was one of the soundtracks of my 70s/80s childhood and still in heavy rotation.

I just don't like their songs. But I know I'm wrong. People love them.

They are my replacement level band, I think. If Queen is on I'm not angry about it, but I would never turn them on myself. I say this acknowledging they are an objectively great band.
