The steam dredger Portlairge, built in 1907 by the Dublin Dockyard Company for Waterford's Harbour commissioners. It remained in service until 1980. It now lies rusting on the shore in Bannow Bay near Saltmills, County Wexford. My wife's grandfather was a crew member. #ireland #waterford #wexford
