For sure. So many online anti-theists are hardened fundamentalist Christians at their core in terms of how they view religion and seem to view Christianity itself narrowly only through the lens of fundamentalist Christianity—like they can't conceive of religion as anything else.

They honestly think all religious people are fundamentalists who want to convert you or see you burn in some version of hell. Maddening. (I'm of course not talking about atheists generally, of course—just a narrow group that mostly consists of white men with fundamentalist/evangelical backgrounds).
