Tories lost votes due to governing failures, didn't win back voters on the right, whatever they said. 2. Labour is losing votes on economics (feelings of econ insecurity). 3. Culture wars increases support for other parties.

- Reposted by Nuffield College LibraryLets just lay out the issue. Of the 182 seats Labour took from the Tories in 2024, Reform are now in second or close third in 84. Conservatives swinging behind Reform tactically would help them greatly. But in 96, Reform standing but not in contention is helping Labour by splitting the Tory vote.
