- Build a damn?
- i have a mighty need for this sort of water-based traversal system
- Lots of iterations!
- I've got a question for you fellow gamedevs: How do you plan your levels? Paper, clay, lego, in engine/3d, greyboxing, etc.? I'd love to know. Ripples says hi, btw! 😁 #gamedev #leveldesign #cute #cozy #indiedev #gamedesign #solodev #wishlistwednesday

- That's nice, especially when it's multiplayer 💪. Can imagine that approach doing its job splendidly!

- Right! Thanks 🙂
- I'm curious, when do you start working on your game demo, what is the right time for your? 💦👀 I love talking about topics like these. Please let me know your thoughts! #gamedev #solodev #indiegame #cozy #gamedesign #wishlistwednesday

- Very nice of you, thanks!
- I often hear that people like my positive attitude. I'm not faking it - I really do try to stay positive, even when it's tough. I believe it would be even harder without that mindset. How do you manage to stay positive? 🌞 #gamedev #indiedev #solodev #wishlistwednesday #cozygame

- I'm at least over 40, and it's becoming harder, I get your point. But at the same time, finding the positive things in-between all the other stuff, that's well worth trying. If there's nothing positive, maybe it's time to rethink your surrounding. That worked for me at least.

- True!

- Try it! 🤞

- Good approach, thanks for sharing 👍

- Haha wow, I know that from inline skating. Riding the route once more while falling asleep. A bit like flying 🙂

- The conversion is always a thing, right? That's why the blocky stage shouldn't eat too much time.

- Cool! Thanks for letting me know 😊

- Nice way to put it, yes. Iterations are your friend and nothing is finished after the first pass.

- Not really, but different 🙃

- Fun story 😁. But if it works, why not 🙃

- Everything that triggers your creative energies, I guess 💪

- That's perfectly fine, sink your teeth into it, it'll be all good in the end 🙂. And there's a name for everything, I guess 😁

- Good point - unplug, that's soooo important, true!

- Perfect scenario for this situation 💪

- That's cool if that works for you! To me it only works up to a certain point that way 🙂

- Keeping my thumbs pressed for you 🤞

- Yes, there needs to be some visual context. Pure greyboxing is also very hard for me

- Word! Also work very broadly in terms of space used because the area will clutter fast, anyway

- Bookmarked, great catch 🙂. Thanks! That's a very valid approach. The bigger the whole constructing is, the harder it is to change things. Planning modular smaller bits is a big help!

- I love splines! I think quite similar. If you can test things directly in the right environment, that makes it easier for me as well 👍

- Nice approach if your game calls for it. I tend to make my areas bigger and bigger. All too small 😉
- Testing ideas, one small step at a time. Having fun with my game, that's quite a robust head he has, right? 😁 #cozy #indiedev #gamedev #indiegame #gamedesign #wishlistwednesday

- Usually it's pretty easy to get them, I even highlight them when being above them. Tried some kind of auto aim while in the air, but it honestly feels better when the timing is right and it's your skill that makes you get them 🙂.
