- Ley has consistently supported the expansion of nuclear energy as part of Australia’s energy transition, arguing for its role as a zero-emissions solution and advocating for gas to remain in the energy mix longer, rather than relying solely on renewables. #auspol
- It's just so silly. Nuclear is horribly expensive, and can take 20 years from conception to completion. We need to slash emissions from electricity over the next 10 years, 15 at most. So nuclear cannot possibly play a role. Anyway, Oz has such good wind and solar, which is so cheap! Dotty.
