I recently saw an early diagnosed Autistic Person in someone else's comment section boldly declaring that "late identified Autistic People don't know about being in special education and don't have experience with behavioral interventions" - something that COMPLETELY erases my Autistic experience..

I can relate to every single thing you have said. My school and teachers treated me like I was defective. I ended up having to drop out of high school because I got zero support. I have so many more things to say, but you are absolutely correct.
