Secretary Buttigieg hired thousands of air traffic controllers and asked Congress to fund 2,000 more in 2025.
During Trump's first term, the number of air traffic controllers decreased EVERY SINGLE YEAR.
May 8, 2025 12:29There is some massive manipulation going on in these graphs. The bar graph is completely fucked and the overall message of the "thousands of hires" fails to reconcile the apparently thousands who also left/retired under Biden.
Per the very metrics cited, net ATC growth is <500.
I encourage people not to post obviously manipulated graphs like this. There's infinite things to hammer Trump and his administration on, there's no reason to manipulate thing's to make them seem crazy ntrary to reality.
Manipulating information is for MAGAt's. We can and should be better.
Because Buttigieg is competent, Duffy? Not so much.
