My daughter’s speech therapist went out of business because Medicaid reimbursement rates were too low. We do not have Medicaid. I’m going to keep posting this until people understand that when Medicaid gets cut *everyone* loses services.
Tying up a bunch of the affordable care act’s affordability with the Medicaid expansion was a key compromise to get it passed, because republicans knew red states could just reject the expansion and drive up costs. What happens to the ACA when Medicaid is gutted?
