- Wow. I don’t really know what to say about this, apart from the fact that I’m glad my followers didn’t put me through this when I announced I was sick. A lot of people could look at my life as it is today and mistake it for normal, but I’m still in chemotherapy!! And I might still die from all this!

- To be honest, the post about my diagnosis and the replies people gave me the strength to start fighting. Jason Isbell sent me a particularly prescient note about expectations. I felt a lot of love from everyone who was reaching out. I can’t imagine replacing that with doubt and accusations.
