- Yes. I just wonder if any country, nationality, language group ever gets this generally right, due to the huge diversity in names, naming conventions, pronunciation & other things (eg tones) worldwide.
- Or that languages aren’t even consistent. My Belgian relatives only recently realised that my surname wasn’t pronounced GRA-HAM.May 15, 2025 10:55
