- Reposted by NamesakeIt's the last day of the month and for my Patreon this morning I wrote about an outrageous Mississippi Supreme Court ruling denying a trans teen's name change request. It sets a dangerous precedent for government overreach into the private lives of citizens. www.patreon.com/posts/missis...
- Reposted by Namesake1. In a landmark ruling, a federal judge has blocked the passport ban for transgender Americans... government ban likely violates equal protection, and is made with animus. Though the ruling only applies to plaintiffs, it is expected expand in coming weeks. Subscribe to support my journalism.
- Reposted by NamesakeBREAKING: A federal judge finds Trump’s order banning transgender people from getting accurate passports is likely unconstitutional. The court ordered the State Department to allow correct gender markers for our clients as we continue to argue until this order is blocked for everyone.

My suggestion: be unique, argue for trans-inclusive policies, against the constitutionality of the changes, etc. www.reddit.com/r/Passports/...

View full threadReposted by NamesakeAll applications for gender marker change are on hold while the State Department changes this policy. Anyone who now submits an application for a change runs the risk of losing access to their passport and documents while their application is being processed.
- Reposted by NamesakeAs in Tennessee, this ban does not apply to cis children, because the drugs themselves are not a safety hazard. The only thing at risk is a society’s discomfort with allowing young people to make their own decisions about their own bodies.
