View full threaddeck.blue is just a different browser(or app now Iirc) window service for bsky and it lets you have a bunch of feeds open at once, you can set the art ones to display as gallery for posts with pictures there are some straightforward guides to each of the little things it lets you do
- super old twitter. use hashtags, there's no 'punishment', you can post links in your messages and not suffer. if you use deck blue (bsky ver of tweetdeck) you can embed links and hidden hashtags without using up all your character limit and more :) starter packs, artist list and general interaction

- I had to skim past a bunch of those AI uploaders but loving using it to find musicians, character artists and a whole bunch of just really skilled creative people.
- just earlier today, I called out some "manager" linkedIn person who had the nerve to post a youtube video titled "I give you permission to use AI" for 'authors'. their audio at max was still almost inaudible and their backdrop was them trying to shill their book LMAO. should've hired a professional

- No worries 👌😁 if you need some good quality guidance for low poly specifically, crashsune academy is my recommendation on YT.
- better to learn how to model it yourself using the screenshots as a reference. This will let you make any necessary adjustments to custom fit to your own proportions. also helps when you later end up wanting to cosplay a character that only appears in a show/art piece.
- Game assets rips "might" exist somewhere, but you then have to trust the source and that there's nothing wrong with them and you would still need to know what plugins or tools you need to get blender to recognize the models file format to import it.

- the whole point of verification is for organisations to say "this person who claims to be affiliated with us, is indeed affiliated with us". it's not a special badge for every user who feels they need public validation and it offers no power or position over anyone else.
- it would be nice to see more than just these current 2 ways to verify people in the future, but users need to submit those suggestions to get them implemented. there is no catch all solution, so diminishing the ones we have doesn't help anyone.

- many freelancers - reporters, scientists, artists etc - all have personal websites/blogs where they host their stuff, get feedback and maybe even make some sales. the custom domain allows people to know "this account is tied to this website" as you need domain access to place the verification files

- I got into blender to sculpt and model characters and went around learning just about everything that was almost entirely unrelated to characters 😅. now I return to the character that started all this and need to make materials for bone, organ, skin, hair, latex, blood, leather, metal and fabrics 🤯

- yeah, for normal projects I would likely stop at that and move onto more important things cause of time limits and needing to get the projects done especially a year ago. but now I have too much free time to think about a portfolio showcase piece just maxing everything I can get away with 😅
- trying to get a bunch of materials as close to physically accurate as I can and just lowering the roughness still looks... kinda off? there's been a number of materials that I thought were simple and then found shockingly indepth breakdown for that now it feels odd to do something so minimal :x
