- Genuinely no idea how people use language models to clean up OCR results??? Just tried with ChatGPT's latest model and the results are both terrible and extremely prone to hallucination. This is from an English 1985 typewritten document with perfect lighting and pretty simple OCR errors?

- Any historically-savvy folks know where collected reports from a UN meeting might have been published in the 1980s? I've already got the meeting report via the UN Digital Library, but it says the "materials generated by the Seminar are expected to be published separately." Thoughts? 🗃️
- do you have hard to find or collect materials? do you proactively share them with people in your field, including students and (gasp!) people who might want to publish with them? or the public? if you aren't, you have forgotten that understanding is a team sport. life is short. let people in.
