- it is unsafe for my wife to try to return to the US and because we live close to multiple border crossing points we're making sure to stay the hell away from them there's beaches here where it's possible to unintentionally / absentmindedly walk across the Canada-US border so yeah
- I’m wish more cis people legitimately understood the concern of gnc and trans folks when we say that we legitimately cannot travel out of the country due to gender marking “discrepancies” or fear of being detained upon returning to the US. Like, any plans to leave the country better be long term.
