- Once again, really enjoying reading my students’ in-class, no-electronics essays. The topic “What advice would you give to an overseas student coming to our university?” really brings out the kindness in them. And just seeing their own words, not AI slop, is great.

- These sound delightful. And, yes, nearly everywhere we travelled in Japan, not only were perfect strangers extremely kind, but also engaged and anticipating "the next step". Personal favorite: a baby in a stroller, after his mom gave him some bread on the train, promptly tried to offer it to us.
- My dear online acquaintances,
- I hope you're all finding some moments of peace in the general chaos 🌿 #SkySky
- Thank you! This is lovely!
- Luminous baby. Photo from my collection, handwriting on it says “My Eddie’s kitten ‘49”.

- Mother’s Day is often a rough one for me, as I know it is for a lot of people. So I’m sending you all love and strength. As for me, I’m basking in the glorious fact that my youngest asked his dad what kind of treat I’d like, then went and got it on his own to surprise me!
- Thank you for sharing that - and the support for folks who find Mother's Day difficult, whatever the reasons. Also how wonderful and thoughtful a gift from your youngest! Yay!!
