- the only Dem politician that I know of to denounce Reyes’ actions was Jim McGovern (though, in the same breath, he also stated that he opposed the vote of no confidence against Reyes)
- just for your own personal edification, you should know that the people siccing state troopers on and expelling peaceful student protesters from their universities were university presidents supported by my state’s Dem political establishment, and the same protesters were charged by Dem DAs
- interestingly, in the original thread that I linked to, another Harris supporter made the same mistake of thinking that the brutalization, expulsion, and arrests of student protesters that I was referring to occurred under Trump. I wonder why that is
- What you're pointing to is the exact reason people like me said nothing matters more than defeating Donald Trump and we begged you to hold your nose and vote Harris Waltz.
- wow I didn’t realize that Trump was president in 2024 when my friends were getting brutalized by cops, suspended, expelled and trespassed from their universities, and charged with felonies
