- Omg too cute/funny. You know DIL cracked up. So true. Lu is made of strong stuff! Same with mine who is turning 14 in August. Lu is still holding down her donut like a Queen! 🐾 My old man has sore & weak hips, but he still runs to his food bowl, climbs stairs & chases the ball & plays a bit, so🤞.
- She’s such a tough little dog, but she’s showing her age - she used to be utterly fearless & now she’s way more cautious. My heart dog! 🩵
- Talked to my Aunt for an hour last night, and her friend snowbirds in Arizona, and some of her MAGA neighbors told her that Canadians shouldn’t be able to come buy all the homes up & live in them 1/2 the year. She sold it & says she’ll never cross the border again. They think we’re freaking nuts.

- It’s my Dad’s 80th next month & he lives in Canada, and I am legit nervous about crossing the border to come back home to WA. My husband & son don’t want me to go at all. I guess this is where we are now.

- I grew up is semi-arid desert with rattlesnakes, but we do get a bit of a long winter. Not much snow -
- My friends son and some buddies drove down to Florida for a stag party pre wedding. They were told by a bouncer at one bar, after asking if they were Canadian, that they wouldn’t be welcome inside 😳. They left . Right or wrong, Canadians partially support the economies of snowbird sites

- Aww I worry about this for the pup as she ages. Vet said I have to keep her on the lean side for this reason. Leo doesn’t appreciate the tough love, but it’s necessary. Glad Lu avoided surgery! My old man dog had to have a tumor removed, too, & his hasn’t come back, either. 🤞for both of them! 🤍
- Lu barely made it through the first surgery to remove the tumor, and she was only 7 at the time. Now, she’s a month away from being a teenager & past her breed’s life expectancy. Leo yowls when he’s hungry - which is always. I sent this to my DIL this morning. 😂
- We had plans to go to Vancouver after my niece's wedding next month, but opted for more family time & a short stint in Seattle instead Bums us out because we really wanted to visit Canada Sucks when you can't trust your own government
- Right? I’m Canadian, but I married an American & have lived here half of my life. I’ve crossed the border more than a hundred times & this is the first time that I have been scared to do so.
- We did the big spring grooming on the dogs Monday and then I was gone all yesterday in the city - and LuLu was so freaking mad that she peed in her dog bed. Thankfully, this only happens once every 2/3 years & we can’t even be upset with her because she’s obviously just so pissed off. 😂
