- wild ass topic to comment on i know but here's a fun fact: tanuki's kintama ("gold balls") are a symbol of wealth n all that rather than anything sexual also, part of the reason why it's a kitsune and a tanuki is because they're often contrasted with eachother because of their similar abilities

The tanuki statue in Inkopolis plaza has testicles in its concept art! as tanuki statues do. while it appears to have been castrated for the final game, if you can zoom in...there is in fact, a nutsack clipping through the roof of the building containing the squid sisters studio.
