- Just learned about Nelson Shin, the Korean animator who gave the lightsaber its distinctive look (though not credited in the original SW film) and went on to found the studio that animates The Simpsons as well as a whole bunch of other shows.
- All craziness aside, it amazes me that no matter how much or how long I do it writing never gets easier. If anything it’s harder.

- Our annual assessment committee did surveys about AI course policies and their impact, and one notable finding is that students are confused. 1. There doesn't seem to be wide agreement about how to define what "AI" is. This means students will say they aren't using it even when they are.
