First Amendment rodeo clown. Policy Director at Free Speech Coalition, co-founder SWR Data, among other things. Personal account, all outrage / nonsense here is my own.
- "The intent we're seeing over and over, whether it's Project 2025, or bills like this, or public statements, is that that they believe that 'pornography' should not be legal — and what they believe to be 'pornography' is this all-encompassing conversation about sex and sexuality."
- “The reason they’re doing [this] is to try to create an environment of fear, to try to get people like myself, or others who would be in my shoes that don't have that same level of security, to shut the fuck up.” The chilling effect is the point.

- Even conservatives know they can’t sell this bill unless they frame it as protecting children. The bill itself doesn’t mention children at all or even the internet. It straight up bans whatever they deem “obscene”, whether that’s an explicit video, graphic novel, videogame or art — for adults.
- Well, here we go. The GOP has just introduced a bill to effectively outlaw all pornography. The bill dismantles the Supreme Court's Miller Test for obscenity, removing provisions that the content be patently offensive to community standards. dailycaller.com/2025/05/08/n...

- The critical part to remember is this: These people do not define pornography the way you do: they mean LGBTQ+ representation, they mean sex ed, they mean Netflix, they mean literature, they mean video games, they mean healthcare, they mean political speech. www.msnbc.com/msnbc/amp/rc...
