Mike Dynon ☘️🏀 18🏆
Fan of the 18-time NBA champion Boston Celtics since 1965. Red’s Army alum, now occasional CelticsBlog.com contributor. Was called a Celtics historian in a book, so it must be true. Brooklyn native, BU grad, Rhode Island resident.
- Just checked the 4th quarter free throw attempts: Knicks 17 Celtics 0 🤦♂️😂
- "Refs helped the Celtics!" 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
- The shoe was on the other foot with Brunson’s fouls last night. Knicks fans can take it up with Adam Silver, who surely isn’t unhappy with another Boston vs. NY game being played.

- Correct on OG. He’s the key because in this postseason, he is averaging 18 in wins and 9 in losses. Vs. Cs he scored 29 game 1, 20 game 4, single digits otherwise. If OG makes his threes, NY is tough to beat.
- Jaylen Brown, career high 12 assists, near triple double. Luke Kornet, career high 7 blocks Derrick White, 7 threes, 3 blocks Everyone, tough defense (NY 35.8FG%), efficient offense (BOS 52.4FG%) Gut check win.
- Luke Kornet may have played a better game during high school or college, but in the NBA this was his Mona Lisa.

- You were right! #thisdayinNBAhistory
- Brunson will have to decapitate someone to get his 6th foul.

- Like Draymond after he gets one tech.

- Lmao, Brunson took one FT through three quarters. He's taken six now this quarter because it's make-up-call time. Also keep-the-game-close time.

- They aren't fouls if the refs don't blow the whistle, and for some guys the whistle limit is five. It is what it is.
- Boston attempted 18 FTs in Q3, NY just 8. One quarter to go, keep up the good work, Tony Brothers.
- THE LUKE (FORMER KNICK) KORNET REVENGE GAME
- It's time to stop fouling Robinson, does everyone agree?
- This is not the night to be missing free throws. Nor is any night, actually.
- The shooter is making a natural motion gathering for the shot. The defender can't get in the way and get the pity call because he used his face.

- It was successful, so they get another challenge.
- A message to Derrick White from Celtics Nation:
- Tommy Point for JB
- Jaylen Brown has certainly stepped up to meet the challenge. First half, 17 points on 7-7 (3-3) shooting with 7 rebounds and 6 assists. Hoping Tony Brothers will also let him take a free throw in the second half.
- * 7-11 shooting (still friggin awesome)
- Do we even need to say it? DERRICK F. WHITE Feed the hot man.

- And tonight he subbed out. I didn't expect that.

- At last! Need 8 or 10 of those from Sam.
- Luke Kornet is not malicious in any way, shape or form. The word you're looking for Reggie is "inadvertent." Like you would use for Draymond.

- I have to stop listening. So much bad stuff has happened in this series, then we have to listen to him, we're cursed.
- FWIW: Probably not one of them was born yet for the last NYK chip.

- Don't be the Cavs. Don't get to this point and then lose game 5 at home. Don't give up. #LFG Celtics!
- Eddie House on the pregame show is FIRED UP! Knicks fans in the background chanting, Eddie tells them "1973." 😆 Put him in uniform, he's ready to nail some threes.

- TFW the good painkillers have kicked in. 😏 Better to see JT looking comfortable — never want to see him in pain like that again.
- 64-win team hammered in second round. 61-win team in dire situation. 68-win team out west might have to go 7 even if they get by tonight's crucial game 5. All that talk last year that the Celtics didn't play anybody was total bullshit. There are NO guarantees in the playoffs.

- One of the best seasons in NBA history and never given full credit, not just by fans, but national media figures who influence the masses. I want to hear what's said about Cavs now.

- They want to trade Mitchell, the guy who carried them all season? 🤦♂️
- Mitchell hitting impossible threes but also goes for the free throw hat trick. JFC, the NBA.

- Boston fan, confirmed.
- A friend just reminded me that not only Kobe and Durant, but also high flier Dominique Wilkins recovered well from Achilles surgery. Nique was 5 years older than Tatum when he was injured. Hopeful.
- I have one (probably irrational) hope about the Tatum injury. Common reaction to an Achilles tear is the person thinks they were kicked from behind. Usually, they don’t show pain and they can walk. That happened to my best friend. This was different. Hoping that means it’s something less severe.

- Don’t make me laugh right now, Rui!

- Exactly.

- Everyone seems to have concluded that it’s an Achilles, and that may be the case. But his reaction wasn’t the same as every other one I’ve ever seen. I imagine something less damaging than an Achilles tear, even if more painful at first, would be a preferable outcome for him.
- Tatum is one of the most durable players in the league. It's shocking to see him go down with what looks like a major injury. We can only hope for the best.

- I hope we’re all wrong. Good to hear from you, Joe. Hope you’re doing well.

- We had one perfect season, now we've gotta make up for it the hard way.

- Totally get that, I just don't want to say it. 😔
- "Biggest Knicks win in 25 years" is not the flex Breen thinks it is.

- Desperately need scoring from someone besides Tatum.
