- Occurred to me the defense-tech bros naming their companies after Lord of the Rings weapons and such are the sort who think Tolkien should have had Boromir succeed in taking the Ring and then go kick ass in Mordor. (i.e., missed the whole point)

- For the comics fans: I learn that the Arecibo Observatory was featured in a comic by William Gonzalez Sierra, called "Data Dreams", starting in 2019 - sciences.ucf.edu/news/arecibo... I unaccountably missed this at the time. Does anyone know where to find copies?
