View full threadI think it's due to giving suggestions while in the settings. So it's not doing it on it's own. However, my point still stands that people don't need this and should be learning how to use said computers in the first place. There's too much dumbing down here.
- I want to use the computer for myself. I do not need the computer to use the computer for me.
- I wish a very unpleasant and miserable life on developers who code a password change interface, that tells you 'new password does not meet requirements,' and then Don't tell you what the f*cking requirements are or which one it thinks your password doesn't match.
- A plague be upon any developer who imposes a limit on password complexity. "Your password must be between 8 and 16 characters long and may only contain letters, numbers, and the following symbols" Fuck that shit. I wrote a book in 1337speak as my password, and I'm goddamn keeping it that way.
