I wish people wrote better issues with more context so I didn't have to go back and forth with them get the answer or help they want. It's a frustrating experience on both ends! The software doesn't work and you don't know why and I don't know what happened so I can't tell you why it isn't working!
May 8, 2025 15:22That and it clogs up the issues. I think GitHub's greatest sin was naturally making it so that Issues became the place to store feature requests, actual bugs, tracking of work, and more all into one thing.
As usual I think "What if I wrote my own damn forge and it had good project management baked in and did things like let people turn issues into feature requests or support tickets in a different part of the software made for just that."
