Are there any Dems in Utah who can stand up for the good folks in Ogden ? Their town could soon face their own Great Recession

oh no the consequences of their own actions
Let's see if this changes the minds in Ogden. One can only hope.
As a resident of N. Utah, I wish it were possible to help the area. As others mentioned, many here vote for the person with the "R." I moved here from Ohio, & the culture makes one feel like a stranger in a strange land. I boldly put a Harris sign in my yard, but I was scared. It's difficult.
Utah Dem here. I continually stand up for everyone in UT by phoning my Reps & Sens, etc. But it does no good. These people overwhelmingly voted for Shittler. Add to that, UT is a caliphate for the LDS church. Dems here make little headway.
It's hard to fight the $$goliath that is the LDS church + the good ol' Mormon boys network, etc. It's frustrating for Dems and moderate Republicans. They were warned repeatedly. You reap what you sow.
What we need is a billionaire to bankroll our protests. You really want to help us? Help us pay our bills and make sure we have food on the table WHILE we are on the ground risking our livelihood protesting. We need to know our bills are covered so we can protest without giving Republicans a break.
An independent (lean left), live in a heavy Red state. I was confronted by a MAGA that was celebrating $6 eggs & in my face culling of the Dem herd statements. This week he laid off 2 people. Slower business activity, thinks it’s an okay price to pay. It is obviously quieter here. A tourist area.
