I only need 5 minutes to complete my financial disclosures every year cause I own zero stocks. The same should be true for all members of Congress. We must ban Congressional stock trading.

More than half of Congress and Senators are millionaires. The ones that ain’t are either noobs that haven’t got on the gravy train or they’re dim bulbs. The way our laws always favor the wealthy shows how inequality is institutionalized.

Look, think of the poor congress members trying to live on a 6 figure salary, endowment, special lobbyist perks, fundraising, donors, trips paid for by donors etc.
I mean in the end of the day, they're thinking about what luxury restaurant their next meal will be paid for.
making regular monthly deposits into a 401K or IRA should be legal but no direct buying or selling of equities regulated by Congress
Or let them invest a portion of their salary but also give us a cut and let us in on it with our taxes.
They can keep what they own but should not be allowed to buy or sell once they run for office.
