This is why I believe it’s best to run campaigns based on bold, transformational change. You draw swing voters AND inspire new voters to get involved. It’s both good policy and politics!
Swing voters are often characterized as “moderate,” even though every election shows us more and more that they’re really “change voters.” They’re not loyal to any ideology, they want something different, because the status quo isn’t working.

Especially when, in our case, "transformational" = "moral" = "good".

Reps get how important it is to have a RELATIONSHIP with voters. RNC started their campaign in Jan 2021. Dems started in Aug 2024. THAT DOES NOT WORK ANY MORE. They did huge voter reg#s, set up Latin Outreach centers for help w/ stuff, pizza, etc for 4 YEARS. &Abrams worked for 2 yrs to flip GA.

The key is to keep them from changing right back in 4 years, or 2 years or whatever. Change for change’s sake.
And by bold, transformative change you mean anti-Trump right? Because that’s all we care about.
It’s a mistake to assume all swing voters want transformational change.

For our freedoms and safety and happiness
It'd take some explanation
But the explanations themselves could help voters transform their understanding of politics
Trump has no feel for our freedoms
And is actively hostile to our safety and happiness
Starting with indignation about that could transform our politics
I’d like to see every district have democrat running. Period. Americans, all Americans, benefit when
issues debated in public.
People hate varnish. An unvarnished fascist will do better than a robot spouting great ideas every time. Young candidates get that. BE YOU!
Why not run on doing what needs to be done???
