- Trump and his stupid tariffs are not a good idea when we are already fighting inflation and high short-term interest rates. He already made the stock market go way down, and it is only going up because he is lowering tariffs, but it might just be a temporary decision. Will take profits soon.

- No president, past, present, or future, should have any say in who leads the independent Postal Service. It happened again, and reeks of conflict of interest.

- I am a little shook up about my fers retirement benefits possibly being changed. These changes would cost me thousands of dollars. This would not even be a consideration if the democrats were in charge. People voted for trump so he can fix everything, which I find laughable and sad.
- We had a lot of rain overnight, and now I just want to see how fast it can dry. I was supposed to have my driveway sealed, but they called and canceled.
- No way should DOGE have access to Social Security systems.

- The previous month economic numbers were better than expected. Going forward now is a lot of uncertainty as tariffs start to take effect. The U.S. is being set up for a decline with higher inflation and price hikes.
- It is sad when we have to accept lowered expectations because of bad trump tariffs and all his other crap.
- It is doom and gloom with trump in charge. I have to be prepared to withstand the onslaught of terrible things that will surely come. Economic data is bad, and there is no chance of a bright, new tomorrow.

- Trump has only himself to blame. He cannot blame Biden. Trump and only Trump is to blame. He has done too much damage, that is why we have negative growth in the economy. He has hurt every facet of government.
- Severe thunderstorm watch has been cancelled by the National Weather Service for my area and others. Now it is raining for 37 more minutes. 10 p.m. cannot come fast enough.
- Maybe my destiny is to be a tsp millionaire. I had it before the election, and trump took it away. Now I am clawing my way back from the abyss. A stable economy and positive news can accelerate a recovery. I remain fearful and see no chance of anything good coming from trump.
- Now the thunder is coming back. The extreme heat today caused unstable weather with thunderstorms.
- Now the temperature is 77 and rain starting in 14 minutes. The wind is now 14 mph from the southwest. Storms are continuing through 7 p.m.
- The temp has dropped to 75 degrees and is going down to 40 overnight. If it ends around 4:45 p.m. should be able to work outside tonight.
- Heavy rain and thunderstorms are possible until 10 pm. The temperature is 85 degrees F with 17 mph winds. Tomorrow the high temperature will be only 51 but sunny. Just got out of work and wanted to work outside. It can wait until tomorrow after work. Now it has severe thunderstorm, until 4:45.
- Pulled some dandelions tonight in the front yard. Got a good amount in a garbage pail for the town works to take. I also ordered a good weed killer that is eco- friendly. Should have it in three days. I got a great digging tool that makes it really easy to dig, and the ground is soft.
- It seems ironic to me that trump is gung-ho on tariffs. The end result for a lot of people will be: “no buy 2025.” Cash on hand will be a valuable commodity and not to be sold for a bad price.
