I’m a straight, cis, white guy so I don’t pontificate on trans issues often, but I genuinely do not understand why the default position is: Who the fuck cares, let people do whatever makes them happy?
It’s incredibly weird when people are obsessed with other people’s choices. That’s common sense!
Also, how is "leave trans people alone and let them live their lives as they have for decades" not the "moderate" position here? Whenever people call for "moderating" on trans issues, they're calling for actively oppressing trans people, actively restricting trans lives.
