- Flying a rainbow flag may seem a small gesture but it sends a message to LGBTQ+ people: You are included, you are welcome. In a move as predictable as it is depressing, Reform controlled councils will not be allowed to fly Rainbow flags. www.attitude.co.uk/news/reform-...

- This is a message to all queer people that thought they are safe because they are not trans. They hate us all. The only reason trans people are attacked so viciously is how accessible transphobia is, but make no mistake – if they win against trans people they’ll be going after the rest.
- But it will be okay to paint the outside walls of the main offices of Reform-controlled councils with large rainbows in indelible paint at 3am, yes?
- Been there, done that!
- The same party that defended their party-member who publically said he wished we'd sided with Hitler.
- Methinks that is a challenge that Led by Donkeys will be happy to take up.
- Faster than the Republican Party Vote reform get Trump I’d have thought there were more pressing matters, social care, potholes, balancing the books But no, a flag takes utmost priority - slipping into authoritarianism faster than a rat up a drainpipe
- A vote for reform is a return to the dark days of horror such as Clause 28
- Ugh 😩. And agree re the inclusion message. Have already emailed Deal Pride to see what we can do here in our part of Kent 🏳️🌈 🏳️⚧️ 🙏🏼

- 😳😡🤬
- It is a small gesture that Reform are making here to say LGBTQ+ people should not be included and are not welcome. It should be very, very clear to everyone that is the world Reform want for the UK. One everyone must reject on every conceivable level.
- Sadly the meaning associated with symbols changes over time. I don't believe the rainbow flag means those things anymore as it did become a virtue signal - organisations that were known to be exclusionary flew them anyway. Maybe it becoming less ubiquitous will make it more meaningful.
- Reform led councils no flying it is a reflection of their lack of inclusivity. They are not safe inclusive spaces. Maybe its best saved for spaces that really are?
