- Roberts and the rest knew exactly what they were doing. They don't see the US Constitution as anything other than a piece of paper with rules to be bent and broken in order to create a righteous Christian nation - just like God told them to.
- I'm not sure Roberts ever knows what he's doing. Not the implications. He and his brethren are informed by FoxNews and quite possibly thought that Biden had weaponized the DoJ to indict Trump. They say exceptions make for bad law. I'd say that goes doubly for fictional exceptions.

- Arizona Sen. Ruben Gallego defended his fundraiser with crypto investor and Trump ally Marc Andreessen during a town hall in Pennsylvania, arguing that Democrats have gotten too “pure” and need a bigger tent.
- Counterargument: points to all the Democrats actually in power. Crypto isn't a constituency. It's a funding source. Wanting this money has nothing to do with the size of the tent. It relates to whose interests will be represented. And the answer there is: not the base of the party.
