- 1/2 Can't win them all! Last '88 Chevalier (last '88 too; I still had one hidden away!?). But I've had better bottles of it; at one time it drank well.The saturated cork is not a good sign, probably part of that past prime feel. Not dead, even so, but definitely lacking in fruit. to part 2 #wine
- This book seems too depressing to read, but I do see a ray of sunlight: it's impossible to contend Trump had a mandate. With all the chaos and self-inflicted D wounds, still a close election. Dems need to get it together. Right the ship. Then you win. If we have a country by then, of course.🤪
- Everyone's talking about the plane. That is an in-your-face "I don't care what you think" scandal on a jaw-dropping level. Maybe it is easier to connect the dots there. But....This one is more complex, but I think it is more consequential.
- 1/2 2012 Xinomavro Hedgehog from Alpha Estate in N. Greece. A value offering, in the $20s, it still has aged beautifully, because it is Xinomavro. 😊 In perfect shape, it's ripe with good acidity, a juicy finish and a hint of funk. to part 2
