Hello, I've recently become obsessed with two video game series
Hitman in particular got sold to me over the years as a more fleshed out MGS Ground Zeroes, but nobody told me that it's actually a game for little voyeur perverts.
I'm having a grand time learning about these rich asshole's routines, their conversations, and inner lives. The first level proper
has you breaking into a house, and it allows you to partake in some real slasher movie villain shenanigans. I was spying on this couple arguing passive-aggressively about their relationship, while getting changed for bed, *from inside their changing closet*. And there's *so* much voice acting
Oh, Hitman is so good. And the amount of little unlockables and extra challenges is staggering
"Would you like to play this level again? Your goal is to slap the two targets with a fish"
"Absolutely, no further questions"
May 2, 2025 12:50Escalations might be one of my favorite ideas. I always like "level again but harder" in games, and pushing that to logical extreme is so fun. Sure haven't beaten many of them though! Some are such bastards that they seem impossible. Yeah sure gun down people as a clown but do it stealthily or sth
I can imagine, even the more introductory ones from the ICA Facility were already making me think about routing and execution very strictly in order to get away with stealth kills. The Miami ones seem interesting (what a great, big-ass level), I'm excited to tackle those soon.
