- I've been putting myself off of using a lot of watercolor in my illustrations because "what if I have to mix the same super complex color 15 to 20 times for a book", but the thing is, nobody is asking me to mix complex colors for picture books. 🤔
- And I know other illustrators make these large mixes of the same color and paint it all at once, everywhere it appears in the book, and that's valid, but I just can't do that. I need to finish an illustration before I move to the next one.
